Ed's Fly Meat - I culture my own flies, but if ever I need new cultures, I get them here. Very good prices. They are based in WA.

Jerry Tresser - I can't count how many times I have had to run to Jerry for emergency flies. If you ONLY need flies, this is the place to go. He sells bulk fruitflies, 300 flies for $3 plus shipping. I offer the same, but I am not always stocked. If I am all out, definitely give Jerry a call.

Spider Pharm - This is where I buy my housefly pupae. The owner is always willing to answer any questions, and will also explain how to raise your own, although I do not plan to EVER raise my own houseflies. At least, not until the flightless houseflies are more readily available. I think I will let him deal with the maggots for now. They are based in AZ.

Vados Bait Shop - I go here for spikes (bluebottle fly larvae). I allow them to pupate and emerge as adult flies which I feed to the mantids. They are based in MN.

Sunshine Mealworms - I go here to buy superworms, mealworms, crickets, and occasionally waxworms. I do not recommend feeding waxworms or waxmoths to mantids too often though, as they are very high in fat. They are based in OR.

Crunchy Critters - I go here to buy Blatta lateralis roaches from Dan whenever I need to stock up. He is also the owner of Exotic Pet Revolution which sells reptile and fish supplies.

Mantid Forum - This is the mother of all mantid forums. Please be sure to check it out.

Insect Hobbyists Mantid Forum - This forum has been around for years and is a good source of information. I have met a lot of new friends here, from all over the world. I use to go here often before mantidforum.com was made. Now I just check it every couple of weeks or so.
